# Energy System

When a user uses the WalkN app, every move consumes energy. Energy is replenished 20% every 6 hours until the user reaches their efficiency Cap. Each sneaker comes with different level of Energy with starting from 5 Energy points but a user can always buy more by burning $STEPS tokens in the app or staking more $WALKN tokens.
