Background Mode

This mode is designed for people who don't want to participate actively or for active users who want to earn while they are not using the WalkN app actively.

Users will be able to earn $STEPS even if the WalkN app is not used actively as long as they have activated Background Mode. But they must have a sneaker NFT within their app. Background Mode will track every step directly from the Health app sensors on your mobile device, with a daily limit of 3500 steps. These earnings are passive and fixed as they are not linked with performance or other bonus and limits including daily earning limit.

While using the Background Mode, a user won't suffer any energy loss or sneaker damage.
